As a fighter, you want shin guards to protect the front of your lower leg from kicks and defensive leg blocks. Some shin guards end at the top of your foot, but not the Fairtex SP5 design. Our unique stitch-free open system shin guard protects your shin and the top of your foot.
This design is beneficial whether you’re a kicking athlete or in self-defence training. The stitch-free design allows for a better range of movement since thick stitches don’t press into your legs and feet. With a better range of movement, you’re less likely to sustain injuries or feel discomfort during training and events.
Other shin guards have a metal loop design, but ours don’t. These shin guards are competition approved for amateur athletes with no metal loop.
The shin guards are made from Fairtex durable Syntek Leather. Inside you’ll find dual foam layers of high impact foam core to absorb the shock of an impact. The straps are designed to feel natural while also offering extended protection to the sides and up to your knee. You can measure your legs and choose that size that fits your needs.
On the inside of the shin guard, you’ll find soft piping on the turn-up foot protector. This design modification helps prevent irritation to your feet where the shin guards press against your skin.
Each shin guard features a Double “F” silk screen so you can differentiate between the left and right sides. You can quickly and easily get your shin guards on the right legs without confusion. And once they’re on, the durable cotton stretch denim lining helps prevent slipping, so they stay firmly in place until you remove them.
